Graduating in labour market politics and human resources management I worked as a human resources consultant until my retirement, including at the judiciary. I combined my work with being an artist. My interest for sculpting started started  after attending a several-day bronze casting course in 2004.
In the years that followed, interest in my work grew.

I exhibit at home and abroad. In 2009 at the Biënnale Chianciano de Terme (Italië) I wun the first price of the Leonardo da Vinci Award for sculptures. In my work I want to show how apparently simple things can be beautiful.
The human figure, posture, shape and especially the movement are endless sources of inspiration. In my work I experiment with different material and techniques such as bronze, wire, plaster and cast stone.

In 2019 I graduated from the Art Academy Arendonk (B)on the subject: impermanence. In June 2022 I obtained the specialization degree in visual- and audiovisual arts from this academy.
